JR Cruz is the kind of guy who brings energy and passion wherever he goes. Standing at 5’10-1/2” with a solid 250 lbs. build, brown hair, and piercing blue eyes, he’s a dynamic personality who’s all about inspiring and uplifting those around him.
When it comes to music, JR is all in. He loves good tunes from any genre but has a soft spot for '90s and early 2000s country hits—“Anything I can sing along to,” as he says.
JR and his wife, Jazmine, are the voices behind the Just Cruz’n Podcast. It’s a chill space where guests leave their public personas behind and dive into real, honest conversations about life, love, and the ups and downs we all face.
As a podcast host and emerging talent, JR is always out there networking. But when he’s not busy building connections, you’ll probably find him at the gym, cooking up something delicious, or firing up the backyard grill. Whether it’s a hearty pasta dish or some perfectly grilled BBQ, JR definitely knows his way around the kitchen.
Outdoors? That’s where JR really thrives. Fishing, golfing, beach days, or just soaking up nature—those are his happy places.
At home, JR has been married to his wife Jazmine for over 20 years, and they’re raising three teenagers together. He’s all about leading by example with strength, care, and compassion.
Before all this, JR spent 20 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. He served with distinction during four tours of duty—two in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. That experience helped shape him into the resilient, disciplined, and driven person he is today.
Through every chapter of his life, JR Cruz’s goal has stayed the same: to be a positive influence. Whether it’s in his community, his industry, or just with the people he meets, JR is all about making a difference and living with purpose.
